What are you reading on Mondays

So I am a bit of a slow reader. I only managed to complete 2 books this week. I also keep the same books for almost a month. I probably take on too many books at one time but I am moody reader.

Here is what I completed this week:

1. War of the Roses by Alison Weir
2. Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir

Books I am reading this week:

1. Mary Barton by Elizabeth Gaskell
2.Persuasion by Jane Austen
2. Mayor of Casterbridge by Thomas Hardy
3. The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie
4. The Emerald City of Oz (which I hope to complete this week)
5. Isabella She Wolf of France by Alison Weir
6. Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens
7. North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell (Hope to complete this this week)

Hoping to start at the end of this week when the other two are completed:

1.Girls in Trucks by Katie Crouch

Heard lots about Alison Weir's books, but haven't read any yet. I need to get on the ball!

The books I completed this week:

Inventing Beauty by (can't remeber the author)
Might as Well Laugh About It by Marie Osmond (which was good)
Full Service by Will Weaver (boring)
It's Getting Better all the Time: 100 Greatest Trends of the Last 100 Years (Great idea that was very badly executed)
Here's the Story by Maureen McCormick (not as good as I expected it to be)
The Unlikely Disciple by Kevin Roose (I really like this book)
The Marine's Baby (which was as cheesy and badly written as the name suggests, and it not a book left to my own devices, but it was Mother's Day so I let my Mother decide what I should read and she only reads trashy novels.)

I read Girls in Trucks last May and loved it. Watch out though, its not really a lite read. I thought it was a little dark. But still an awesome book. I hope you enjoy it.

I've enjoyed Alison Weir's books too. I've only read 1 book each week for the last two weeks so you are not alone LOL

Thanks everyone for the comments.
J.Kaye I love Alison Weir too.

Angie- Wow you read a lot this week.Sorry not all of them are good. Really Maureen McCormick books was not good I like biographies

AuntJ-HA and Mary. I hope I enjoy it too. Dark books do not bother me much. I just don't like romance novels.

Teddy- Yes, I read several books at once so that is what takes me a long time to read books and review them. I am amazed at others who go through 5 a week. Then again I do not read lite books anyway.
